SPINNERS & KNITTERS STUDIO WEDNESDAYS
Wednesdays, 9am-noon $2.00 per session
Each Wednesday morning the upstairs space at Create is alive with the sounds of laughter, conversation, and happy work. Come share your hand-spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, needlework, quilting, etc. projects with others. And bring a friend! Beginners and newcomers always welcome. Expect the unexpected!
Artist Spotlight: Shirley Bird Wright
Shirley’s natural talent evidences itself in the subjects and style of her paintings. Her favorite subjects are animals and she portrays the personality of a pet with sensitivity and honesty. Nature’s world of landscapes, flowers and of course her pets never fail to provide inspiration for new paintings. Her wish is to reach everyone through her art and to make the world a little friendlier and brighter each day.
Shirley has a degree in Visual Media Design Technology. She has studied watercolors with Elizabeth Kincaid, Diane Maxey, Lian Zhen, Ron Ranson. Charles Reid. Tom Lynch, Stan Miller and is a certified Terry Madden instructor. She has studied oils with Robert Stem and Bob Walton and Chinese painting with Lian Zhen and Kiko Von Holt. She is a senior instructor in art clay silver. She is a member of the Spokane Watercolor Society and of the Montana Watercolor Society.

A different technique or subject matter is taught at each class, so join Shirley the third Friday of every month for an all day class with a short lunch.
